These two dance films emerge from an intensive cooperation between choreographer Michèle Noiret and film maker Thierry Knauff. What started as a chance encounter grew into a friendship and co-operation in two dance film projects founded on a mutual curiosity and shared interest in the experiment. The films are an intriguing game of light and darkness, with camera movements that in a subtle way complement the choreography. Both films were shot in sensitive black & white. Together they are one.
