This film works with imagery originally shot in 1899 by a cameraman for the American Mutoscoop & Biograph Co., who mounted his camera on the front of a train traveling over the Brooklyn Bridge, journeying from Manhattan to Brooklyn. In the split-screen version, this provides a picture in Cinemascope format that is then processed by Morrison. The result is stunning.
