Alexander Stewart is fascinated by nostalgic forms of technology and the process of automated abstraction. This film came about by copying copies. He started with a white sheet of paper and every copy became a picture in his animation. Two years later the result was a kind of moving Rorschach test of blossoming and dying forms.
