Mariko's 30 Pirates
Direct naar zijbalk
An initiation film between documentary and fiction about the state of the Super-8 film in today’s digital times, the film maker himself, his own roots, his dreams as a fiction character and about old and familiar things. While writing his final paper at university, Mariko Tetsuya finds out he is a descendant of pirates. He then dresses as a pirate, gathers some other 30 pirates around him and starts a campaign against the university, which is attempting to tear down a building he has grown fond of.
