Don McLean Restorations + JLB – The Man Who Saw The Future
Don McLean Restorations + JLB - The Man Who Saw The Future
Direct naar zijbalk
The restored wonders of original recordings made in the era of mechanically-scanned television! Pioneer John Logie Baird’s system was crude by modern standards, comprising only 30 lines per picture. The low resolution drove him to ‘tune’ the scanning direction and aspect ratio to be a vertically-scanned letter-box. The restorations by Don MacLean are followed by a 55 minute documentary entitled JLB – the Man who Saw the Future (Jan Leman, Electric Sky Productions).
