Part of a series of documentaries, made by the well-known Czech documentarist Helena Trestikova. The film was shot over a period of five years. Trestikova followed the life of Jarmila Balazova, a Czech journalist and intellectual of Roma origins. The result is a unique portrait of a unique character, including all the high points and low points that are so characteristic of the life of a Romani woman.
