Documentary maker and photographer Marjoleine Boonstra made a striking portrait of a group of illegal immigrants who are involved in the last, but probably also the most difficult, part of their gruelling journey to the United Kingdom. She does not just show the inhospitable locations, but she asks some of them in the mirror to tell their - often dramatic - stories. Who are they and how did they get themselves into this situation?
