De Bemels: ‘This video is made of images taken during a photoshoot in an old palace. There were two naked bodies, a woman and a man, and walls and dust all around them. I was hidden in a small alcove, silently watching and filming. For me, what took place there was an attempt to reinstate some kind of primeval androgyny.’
