Heather Wagner has created sound installations and Internet performances that explore ethernity, the imaginary connection between cyberspace and dreams. Her piece acts like a transducer, that is, a device that converts input energy of one form into output energy of another. An onomatograph is a black & white television 'upgraded' to take sound input and convert it to light signals. Here the sound source is a reading of Samuel Beckett's Not I by Victoria Highquality and Jocelyn Ruggiero, among other synthesised and collected sounds.
