A poetic quest by the director for the true identity of her great uncle Henry Hall. Michale Boganim, playing the historian, starts her quest for this mysterious man with her relatives and unfolds a variety of stories. Henry was a murderer, a chauffeur for Churchill, a prisoner on the Isle of Wight, a gambler... In the course of the film, she throws a new light on Henry and his 'heroic deeds'.
