Three videos by Anthony Goicolea, who primarily worked as a photographer in the past. Just as in his photos, the artist demonstrates his fascination for the self portrait with its underlying themes such as vanity, narcissism and the different functions of the body. He also has a predilection for the grotesque and the perverse. In his video work, Goicolea made room for a narrative structure with often strange scenarios in which the camera usually remains static and editing interventions are restricted to a minimum.
