Ellen Cantor: `I felt internally `blown away’ by the disaster of 09/11 and this feeling increased over time. Intentionally, like a prayer for a brighter future, I finished this film on New Year’s Day. My idea was to redramatise the ancient myth of Kali through contemporary imagery.’
