In 1970, at the height of the Vietnam war, Peter Dale Scott wrote The War Conspiracy. It was however never published because, as became apparent later, of CIA intervention. The book is about the decisive role the CIA and the oil companies had in deciding to allow the war in Vietnam to escalate. Now, thirty years on, GNN Scott asks about any possible parallels between Vietnam back then and the war against terrorism now.
