A couple separated during the Olympic Games in Sarajevo in 1984. Nine years later they meet up again on different sides of the battle. She is a sniper in the Serbian army. He stays alive by catching and eating pigeons. She starts to tease him. Hop, Skip & Jump is an intelligent indictment of war, with a beautiful, quiet and reflective narrative style. Srdjan Vuletic (1971, Yugoslavia) graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in 1995. He has made several short films and was assistant director for the film Perfect Circle, that was screened in Rotterdam in 1998.
