In his typically surreal collage style, Kobrin pays homage to Vasili Vasilyevitch Nalimov in this visually opulent video. Nalimov gained a reputation as a mathematician, but was also an eccentric anarchist with mystic tendencies who had to spend a lot of time in a concentration camp. Vladimir Kobrin (1942) is also cameraman and made educative films, including a cycle on biophysics.
