Yuichi, president of a porn-video company meets Sanae, who tells him they used to be classmates. They have an affair and Sanae is so excited that she bites Yuichi's skin ('Kamu onna' means 'the woman who bites'). After this encounter, someone throws stones at Yuichi's windows, punctures his car tyres and phones without saying a word. Yuichi suspects Sanae. He approaches a friend, the detective Yamazaki, and finds out that the original Sanae is dead. So who is this 'Sanae'? Then Yuichi dies in a car crash. His wife Chikako couldn't care less. She sleeps with Yamazaki and bites his skin in turn... Kamu onna turns out to be the opposite of the simultaneous Fatal Attraction: it is a household drama in which the husband gets the worst of it and the women act together. The film can be labelled ropponica, a lighter and softer variation of feature film than those of the roman-porn genre. The script of Kamu onna is by Arai Haruhiko, an exponent of the anti-authoritarian baby-boom generation.
