Spectacular martial-arts film set in an undated yet grand Chinese past.Motive of thie story is revenge. The young kung-fu pupil Shih-kuang Hong istraining in the Shaolin temple and takes part in a rebellion against the Manchu rulers who oppress the people violently and want to steal the treasuresfrom the temple. His fellow pupil Ning-Erh Ma hwever shops him to theauthorities and his family are arrested and beheaded. Hong takes his revengeand kills Ma. Many adventures and years later, Hong is again confronted withMa, because everything is possible in these mythical times. The complicationsincrease, but the master of the Shaolin temple tradition isn't easily beaten.
