An encounter between two Davids, a young and an old one. Both are investigating their own sexuality. In Amsterdam, where the film is set, many worlds meet, inconspicuously thanks to the snowy light and the liberal culture. One David is Dafydd, a 17-year-old boy who has left home and prostitutes himself. He is learning to come to terms with his identity and regaining his lost innocence. The other David is David Davies, a man who is about to lose his consciousness and control over himself completely. The film can be regarded as a modern parable on choices and oppression, on values and identity, built like a fast thriller with a mixture of cinéma verité and a considered form of Surrealism.
