Scope
Scope is a regional platform connecting filmmakers, training institutions, exhibitors and other players across the film and media sector in South Holland. Scope supports filmmakers by offering space, guidance, and a strong network; so new stories can take shape and find their audience.

About Scope
South Holland has a rich film and media landscape, with makers, production houses, training institutions, festivals and screening venues at almost every link in the chain. Scope unites the parts of this ecosystem, strengthens collaboration and gives makers a clearer overview, more guidance and better access to networks and places to show their work.
The initiative is driven by the sector itself, in close collaboration with Filmhuis Den Haag, Qissa, New Producers Academy, Buddy Film Foundation, Stichting SKLNE, LantarenVenster and IFFR and is funded by the cities of The Hague and Rotterdam, the Netherlands Film Fund and Cultuurfonds. Together, they are shaping a robust regional network in which talent can develop in a sustained and future-proof way.

What Scope does
Every month, Scope and its partners host a hands-on programme for filmmakers and creative professionals: talks, workshops, meet-ups and moments to exchange ideas. Scope also offers co-working spaces, pitching sessions and mentorship trajectories, plus opportunities to gain real-world experience within companies and organisations.
Scope stays closely connected to regional broadcasters and cinemas, helping films and makers from Zuid-Holland reach audiences both locally and further afield.
