Creative Producer Indaba
Creative Producer Indaba (CPI) is a talent development programme that aims to empower Africa’s emerging producers with creative vision and leadership skills.
Participants 2024–25
15 participants have been selected for the fourth edition of the Indaba, bringing together an inspiring mix of professionals united by their commitment to creating compelling, diverse and globally relevant African stories. They will join us at the IFFR Pro Days 2025 for the second of two workshops.

Who is it for?
The programme is designed for producers working from or with the African continent. This includes:
- Producers (with and without projects) from Africa;
- Producers from outside Africa with an interest in co-producing with Africa. One place is guaranteed for one Brazilian producer due to a partnership with Projeto Paradiso.
- African film professionals from other disciplines such as distribution, international sales, funding bodies, institutions, broadcasters and development executives with a stake in the African marketplace.
