Hubert Bals Fund logos and credits

On this page you’ll find all the guidelines for your film’s credits if you received support from the Hubert Bals Fund.

After receiving support through one of our funding schemes, we ask that you include our logo in both the opening and closing credits of your film. If you received more than one type of support, include the logo for each scheme and name each one in a line in the film’s closing credits. The examples below show the correct credit line for each scheme and combination.

HBF Development Support 

If your film received HBF Development Support exclusively, include the following credit line accompanied by the Hubert Bals Fund logo:

“Supported by the Hubert Bals Fund of International Film Festival Rotterdam through the HBF Development Support scheme”

NFF+HBF Co-production Support

If your film received NFF+HBF Co-production Support as well as HBF Development, include the following credit line accompanied by the combined logos of both the Hubert Bals Fund and the Netherlands Film Fund:

“Supported by the Hubert Bals Fund of International Film Festival Rotterdam through HBF Development and NFF+HBF Co-production Support in collaboration with the Netherlands Film Fund”

HBF+Europe

HBF+Europe support exclusively

If your film received HBF+Europe: Minority Co-production Support or HBF+Europe: Post-production Support, include the following credit line accompanied by the HBF+Europe logo:

“Supported by the Hubert Bals Fund of International Film Festival Rotterdam through HBF+Europe: [scheme name] made possible by Creative Europe – MEDIA”

HBF+Europe with HBF Development

If your film received HBF+Europe and HBF Development, include the both the regular HBF logo and the HBF+Europe logo and mention both schemes in the credit line as follows:

“Supported by the Hubert Bals Fund of International Film Festival Rotterdam through HBF Development and HBF+Europe: [scheme name] made possible by Creative Europe – MEDIA”

HBF+Europe with HBF Development and NFF+HBF

If your film received HBF+Europe, HBF Development and NFF+HBF, include the logos of all three scheme and mention each in the credit line as follows:

“Supported by the Hubert Bals Fund of International Film Festival Rotterdam through HBF Development, HBF+Europe: [scheme name] made possible by Creative Europe – MEDIA and NFF+HBF Co-production Support in collaboration with the Netherlands Film Fund”

CineMart & Darkroom

If your film was presented at IFFR Pro’s CineMart or Darkroom, you must also include a logo and credit line.
