About the Big Talk: Robby Müller Award Winner: Yorick Le Saux

Two films in IFFR 2026, The Wizard of the Kremlin and Father Mother Sister Brother, showcase the remarkably supple and expressive work of cinematographer Yorick Le Saux, winner of this year’s Robby Müller Award. Le Saux will discuss his cinematographic approach, his inspirations and highlights from his extensive oeuvre.

About The Wizard of the Kremlin

Adapting Giuliano da Empoli’s award-winning book, Olivier Assayas follows the rise and fall of Vadim Baranov (Paul Dano), a former theatre and TV director who becomes Vladimir Putin’s (Jude Law) right-hand man, helping the modern tsar shape Russia into the 21st century’s emblematic autocracy.
