Press and industry ticket information

Practical information on ticket sales

  • When can press and industry book their tickets?

The ticket sale for press and industry begins at 10.00 a.m. CET on Wednesday 14 of January

  • Select your favourites

Once the full programme schedule is published on Friday 9 January, visit IFFR.com, and log in to your account. Make sure this is the account associated with your accreditation.

Once logged in, you can create a favourites list of the shows you would like to see. It is only possible to add individual screenings and events at specific times to your favourites list, not the films themselves.

Please note: adding a show to your favourites list is not a ticket reservation.

  • Book your tickets

Make sure you are logged in to your IFFR account when the sale for press and industry begins at 10.00 a.m. CET on Wednesday 14 January. Note that there will not be an online queue for the start of press and industry booking, so ensure you are on time on Wednesday morning.

Tickets can be ordered on the film pages or directly from your favourites list. Find films via the programme schedule (from 9 Jan) or programme A-Z

Ensure you select the rate associated with your badge, which in most cases should be at no cost. As a badge-holder you have access to the full IFFR 2026 programme (excluding IFFR Festival Specials, with some exceptions), IFFR Big Talks & Tiger Talks, P&I screenings and the online video library.

If you do not see a price type associated with your badge, it could be that the press and industry allocation is sold out for that screening. If you do not see your price type on any screening, including press and industry screenings, there may be a problem with your account and you should contact ticketing support (see below).

  • Ticket numbers

This edition, an IFFR Pro, CineMart or Art Directions accreditation entitles you to book 20 tickets for the IFFR 2026 programme, inclusive of public and press and industry screenings and IFFR Talks and Art Directions. There is no limit for IFFR Pro+, jury and press badges.

  • Last-minute access for sold-out screenings

If you are unable to secure a ticket from the allocation made for badge-holders, there is still a good likelihood that you will be able to access screenings with your badge via the last-minute queue outside the screening room at each venue.

  • Press & Industry screenings

Please be advised that this edition, screenings arranged exclusively for press and industry will include all films in the Tiger Competition, Big Screen Competition, the closing film as well as a selection of films premiering later in the festival. These will appear in the regular programme schedule on IFFR.com. They must be pre-booked in the same way as all other screenings.

  • Cancelling tickets

Your badge has a limit on the number of tickets you can book. To avoid reaching this limit and leaving empty seats in sold-out screenings that could otherwise have been sold, please cancel your ticket as soon as possible in your IFFR account. To do so, in the ticket section of your online account, click on the “cancel ticket” button next to the screening.

  • Art Directions: immersive media in Katoenhuis

Due to a limited number of slots, regular press and industry badge-holders have been given a specific day on Monday 2 February to view the immersive media programme in Katoenhuis. Outside of this slot, attendance is only possible through last-minute access at the venue should availability permit.

Art Directions badge-holders have priority access and are free to book a maximum of six immersive media slots across the whole festival period.

There are no restrictions on when press and industry can visit the rest of the installations in Katoenhuis – you can enter the venue with your badge.

  • Online video library

Depending on rightsholder permission per title and territory, films from the IFFR 2026 programme will be available to watch online for accredited guests via their regular film pages on IFFR.com. The online video library will be available from 29 January at 9.00 CET to 22 February 9.00 CET.

This content is made available under a strict confidentiality policy.
