WINNER: The Poet’s Son by Nicolas Graux, produced by Tarantula, Yellow Blackbird, Petit à Petit Production, Clin d’Œil Films (Belgium, France, Germany)
Jury statement: “The ArteKino International Award goes to a first feature project that brings humanity and poetry into a place of darkness in this perilous moment in time. Told by a convincing filmmaker, it is a personal, intimate story that transcends its actuality.”

The jury gave a special shoutout to Worse Together by Luis De Filippis, praising “a group of filmmakers whose endeavour transcends a mere film project – they’re fighting for an entire community in a way that is inspiring, relevant and full of energy. Their work reminds us that we may be better together, not worse. As such, they almost embody the spirit of our independent filmmaking community at IFFR and at CineMart.”
