As I Lay Dying
Direct naar zijbalk
Delicate short film by this former Tiger Awards candidate and leading cinematographer of what is known as the Malaysian New Wave. Shot in an enchanting black & white. Performed by the young talent Wong Zi Jiang, who can also be admired in this year’s competition film Flower in the Pocket.
A boy comes home soaking wet one day. Later he gets a fever and thinks he’s going to die.
The title refers more to Faulkner than to the heavy metal band of the same name.
