Silvia Gatti

Silvia GATTI (1983, Italy) is an artist based in Amsterdam. She graduated cum laude from the University of Architecture and Design in Genova and later completed a BA at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. She is currently a resident at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten. Working across video installation, poetry, sculpture, programming and conceptual practices, Gatti uses language and storytelling as a form of concrete philosophy, exploring the space between the unknown, the physical and the digital. Her recent work investigates body awareness, text and immersive soundscapes. Her installation Preludio (2025) was selected for IFFR’s 2026 Art Directions programme.
