Riccardo Santalucia

Riccardo SANTALUCIA (Italy) is a Rotterdam-based artist working across sound, moving image and interactive media. He studied and worked as a sound and interactive designer for performing and visual arts in Italy before completing an MFA at the Piet Zwart Institute. His practice collages physical and digital cultures into fictional scenarios, assembling hybrid forms to explore human emotions and the tension between roles and rules. Alongside filmmaking, Santalucia performs electro-acoustic live music and develops projects in interactive and aural cinematic experiences, as well as artworks connected to music releases.
