Matthijs Munnik
Artist Matthijs MUNNIK (1989, Netherlands) studied at the Royal Academy in The Hague, followed by a two years’ residency at the Rijksacademie in Amsterdam until 2017. Munnik develops new technology that aims to realise sensory experience and compositional possibilities. He creates performances and installations, both playing with the perception of spectators. His work has been shown in several museums and at various festivals all over Europe. In 2013 he received a Prix Cube Award in France.
