Kongdej Jaturanrasmee
Screenwriter and filmmaker Kongdej JATURANRASSAMEE (1972, Thailand) graduated from the King Monkut’s Technology Institute in Bangkok. He had a variety of professions, including as as a musician, before he started dedicating himself exclusively to film. He started his career making shorts. Sayew (2003), his first full-length feature, about an innocent girl with a talent for writing erotic stories, brought him international recognition. It won the Asian Trade Winds Award at Seattle International Film Festival. His latest film, Faces of Anne (2022), was selected for IFFR 2023.
