Julien Maury

Julien MAURY (1978, France) is one half of the French filmmaking duo he shares with Alexandre BUSTILLO. He attended the Ecole Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle Paris and graduated with a diploma in film directing. He met Bustillo in 2005 and it was then their fruitful cinematic collaboration began. Their first feature film A l’Interieur (2006) is often described as one of the goriest films ever shot in France, it was selected for Critics’ Week at the Cannes Film Festival, won numerous awards around the world and quickly acquired benchmark status. The Soul Eater (2024) will premiere at IFFR 2024.
