Juan Carlos Medina

Juan Carlos MEDINA (1977, USA) is a Spanish director and writer with a specific interest in exploring the human condition. His debut feature film Painless premiered at TIFF in 2012 and was met with critical acclaim. He returned to TIFF in 2016 for the premiere of his first English-language film, The Limehouse Golem. In 2021, he directed the 5-part limited series Gone for Good for Netflix, based on the homonymous book by Harlan Coben. His newest feature film 6 Jours/The Chase, was selected for IFFR 2025.
