Jon Blåhed

Jon BLÅHED (1987, Sweden) was born and raised in Tornedalen, a part of the Arctic region in Sweden. He has been working in the Swedish film industry for ten years, mostly as first assistant director in feature films and TV series. He is best known for working on Joachim Tier’s Thelma (2017) as second assistant director and Lars von Trier’s Melancholia (2011). In 2019 he directed Turpa Kiini Minun Haters which screened at BUFF Malmö Film Festival. He is also the creator of the TV series Fejkpatient (2023). RAPTURES (2025) has its world premiere at IFFR.
