Jerrold Tarog
Jerrold TAROG (1977, Philippines) is a filmmaker known for his versatility across genres and disciplines, having written, directed, scored, edited and mixed several of his works. His debut feature Confessional (2007) won eight awards at the Cinema One Originals Film Festival, including Best Film, and Best Film (First Features Category) at Osian’s Cinefan in New Delhi. His romantic drama Sana Dati (2013) received multiple awards at the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival and screened internationally, including at the Busan International Film Festival. His historical epic Heneral Luna (2015) became the highest-grossing historical film in Philippine cinema.
