Ishii Takashi
ISHII Takashi (1946, Japan) made his debut as cartoonist when he was still studying at the Waseda University. He started in the film world as scriptwriter in 1978 and was involved with several ‘roman porno’ projects at Nikkatsu. His Original Sin (1992) was warmly received and won several prizes at international film festivals. His films have earned numerous international nominations and awards.
