Idriss Nabil

Idriss NABIL (1995, Netherlands) stepped into the world of film and television at the age of thirteen. He started his career as an actor and gradually shifted his focus towards a role behind the camera. He studied at the Netherlands Film Academy, where he pursued fiction directing. His short film Revelinho (2021) made its mark at multiple international film festivals. As the child of a Cameroonian father and a Dutch mother, Idriss brings forth a tapestry of diverse and colourful characters in his films. Collaborating with young actors, he illuminates serious themes in a playful and positive manner, ensuring the message remains impactful.
