Gustavo de Carvalho

Gustavo DE CARVALHO is an American filmmaker. He began creating films at a young age and was introduced to video production at Acalanes High School in California. He later received a degree in Film and Audiovisuals from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi in 2020. De Carvalho started his professional career in the audiovisual industry in 2018. At O2 Filmes in São Paulo, he worked as a production assistant on advertisements and series. He served as Assistant Director on the feature film 7 Prisioneiros/7 Prisoners (2021), which was selected for the Venice International Film Festival and TIFF in 2021. De Carvalho has also directed clips and short films that have been selected for national and international film festivals.
