Gonzalo Fernandez Carmona

Gonzalo FERNANDEZ (1980, The Netherlands) is a Dutch director based in Amsterdam. He attended the Willem de Kooning Academy and the Dutch Film Academy. His graduation film, an absurd road movie Lazarus (2015) won him the GoShort prize for Best Dutch Short Film and a nomination for at the Oscar Academy Student Awards. He directed Tom Adelaar (2018) which was nominated for two Gouden Kalveren. Alongside his filmmaking career, Fernandez creates comics and graphic novels.
