Ernesto Díaz Espinoza

Ernesto Diaz ESPINOZA (1978, Chile) is a writer, editor and filmmaker. He studied Audio Visual Communication and took a scriptwriting course at the University of Pompeau Fabra in Barcelona. His films take on the world of superheroes and martial arts fighters as well as elements of Latin American culture. He wrote, edited and directed his first film Kiltro in 2006, and followed up with the superhero flick Mirageman, which won Best Film at Austin Fantastic Fest in 2007. El Puño del Cóndor (2023) has its world premiere at IFFR 2023.
