Devashish Makhija
Devashish MAKHIJA (India) is a filmmaker, screenwriter, writer and poet. He began his career as an assistant director on films like Black Friday (2007). He has won several awards for his films, including the Fresh Blood Film Award at the Beaune International Thriller Film Festival for his feature film, Ajji (2017). He also won Best Director and Best Screenplay at Asian Film Festival Barcelona in 2019 for Bhonsle (2018). Outside of filmmaking, Makhija has held a solo art show, and written children’s books, short stories and a poetry collection.
