Danilo do Carmo
Danilo DO CARMO (1989, Brazil) was studying Dramatic Arts and Philosophy when he rediscovered his love for film, so he decided to study Cinematography and Editing at the University of São Paulo, Brazil and the KONRAD WOLF film university in Germany. While at university, he shot his first short films as cinematographer, including Bird Boy (2018), which received the award for best picture at the Curta Cinema Festival in Rio de Janeiro. La Espera is his directorial debut, together with co-director Jakob Krese.
