Chris de Krijger

Chris DE KRIJGER (1987, the Netherlands) attended the Art Academy St. Joost in Breda before he relocated to Rotterdam to work as a writer and director. Fascinated by exploring social expectations and discomfort, he made a series of short films and music videos centred around eccentric individuals, peculiar homes, secluded islands and fish sticks. Driven by the belief that “the perfect film doesn’t need any words”, Chris sets himself the goal of capturing the unsaid in pictures, to gain a deeper understanding of human relationships.
