Brady Corbet
Brady CORBET (1988, USA) started his career as an actor, making his film debut in Thirteen (Catherine Hardwicke, 2003). His directorial debut Protect You + Me was released in 2008. The Childhood of a Leader (2015) was his first feature film. The film was nominated for the Horizons Award for Best Film and won Best Director in Venice. The film closed the 45th edition of IFFR. The film music, composed and produced by Scott Walker, was played live during the screening of the film. Vox Lux (2018) – with music by Scott Walker and Sia – screened at the Venice Biennale and in Toronto. He won the Silver Lion for Best Direction for his latest feature, The Brutalist (IFFR 2025), at the 81st Venice International Film Festival.
