Alexandra Pavlovskaya-Lokchine

Alexandra PAVLOSKAYA-LOKCHINE (Moscow, 2002) is an emerging multidisciplinary artist based in the Netherlands. She studied documentary film directing at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) and fine arts at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. Her practice often revolves around fragments of past landscapes – echoes of myth or lived history. Working at the intersection of cinema and visual arts, Alexandra operates as a director merging mediums to create sensory experiences related to loss and rupture.
