Zuza Banasińska
Audio-visual artist Zuza BANASIŃSKA (1994) is based in Amsterdam. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Universität der Künste in Berlin and Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam. Her practice concentrates on the creation of video-based environments where virtual and real elements are hybridised beyond distinction in an effort to move towards an affective mapping. Banasińska holds the first prize in the Polish Experimental section at Short Waves in Poznań and On. Her artistic projects have been displayed at U-Jazdowski CCA in Warsaw, Dům Umění Mesta Brna in Czech Republic and Blindside in Melbourne. In 2024 she joins IFFR with her experimental short Grandmamauntsitercat (2024)
