Yonri Revolt
Filmmaker, writer and journalist Yonri REVOLT has developed several documentaries and citizen journalism projects with the help of Yoikatra Community, a collective in Timika, Papua he he helped to create. His cinematic works include Tiga Mama Tiga Cinta (2015), Mama Fin (2015), Inside Sack (2018) and Karlota (2021). Revolt’s Mama Amamapare (2016) won Best Short Documentary at the Indonesian Film Festival. Mayday! May Day! Mayday!, had its international premiere at IFFR 2023 and was nominated for Best Feature Documentary at Indonesian Film Festival 2023. Soebertono Mote (2024) will have its world premiere at IFFR 2024.
