Volkan Üce

Volkan ÜCE (1981, Belgium) is a filmmaker who holds a master’s degree in Political and Social Sciences from the University of Antwerp and later completed a PhD. After initially working as a self-taught filmmaker, he directed his first feature-length documentary Displaced (2017), supported by the Flanders Audiovisual Fund and VRT, which premiered at DOK Leipzig and explored identity and belonging among third-generation Turks in Belgium and the Netherlands. His second documentary All-In (2021) premiered at CPH:DOX and Hot Docs, was selected for the European Film Awards and won Best Documentary at the Antalya Film Festival. His new film 2m² (2026) is selected for the Big Screen Competition at IFFR 2026.
