Trần Hữu Tấn

Director Trần HỮU TẤN (1983, Vietnam) has 15 years of experience in the field of creative advertising, an industry in which he won numerous awards before transitioning into the film industry. His debut film was selected for the A Window on Asian Cinema section at the Busan International Film Festival. He also won the Phenomenon of the Year award at the Ngôi Sao Của Năm (Star of the Year) and the Television Film of the Year award at WeChoice Awards 2023 for the series Tết Ở Làng Địa Ngục/Hellbound Village. Trần Hữu Tấn has become a prominent director in the horror genre within the Vietnamese cinema landscape. He is recognised as a pioneer in exploring commercial horror films and introducing fresh, innovative themes within the genre. His works are known for their imaginative character designs and creative, multi-layered storytelling.
