Tom Fassaert
Tom FASSAERT (1979, Netherlands) is a filmmaker known for intimate, cinematic explorations of family and identity. His debut film, An Angel in Doel (2011), premiered at the Berlinale, followed by A Family Affair (2015), which opened IDFA and was nominated for a European Film Award. Fassaert returns to IFFR 2026 with a new feature, Tussen Broers (2026), that continues his signature approach.
