Stephen Irwin
Stephen IRWIN (UK) is a Surrey-based animator. He graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in 2005, with an MA in Communication Design, specialising in Animation. His short graduation film Dialog earned him the Best Emerging Talent award at EMERGEANDSEE Film Festival. The Black Dog’s Progress (2008) won Best Short Film at the British Animation Awards, and Moxie (2011) won the Grand Prize at the Ottawa International Animation Film Festival. Moxie was also nominated for Sundance’s Short Film Grand Jury Prize, just like The Obvious Child (2014) and Wood Child & Hidden Forest Mother (2019).
