Deep in the forest, a hunter encounters a strange creature he cannot kill. In a deceptively colourful and childish graphic style, Irwin evokes a bleak universe. A forest provides the backdrop for a surreal rite of passage: the male hunter becomes female, and he sacrifices his own body as food for the forest children.
French theatre director and author Patricia Allio presents her first film, together with two other short films that also investigate the concept of ‘the hunt’.
